Here’s the transcript:
Before we started using InVision, the process involved putting more engineering cycles into things.
We needed something that was clickable.
We needed something that users could interact with to really get a feel for was this actually going to solve the problem?
So that’s incredibly expensive.
It would take longer.
It might be several weeks to a month before we had something we could get in front of a user.
Now, we’re at the state where within days of thinking about a problem that we want to attack,
we can get something in front of a user.
InVision, to us, is insight.
It’s tool that allows us to bring design to life and get us the information that we
need to make really good decisions with our designs.
It’s helped me to communicate my thoughts,
my ideas as a designer.
Now, I put my focus much more on the larger picture, and how everything’s going to work together.
It’s really become a fundamental part of our process and how we develop products.
Every designer here uses it.
And all the way through the process, before the developer’s ever written a single line of code,
really fundamentally understanding are we attacking the problem in the right way?
Is this going to be easy for users to understand?
InVision is a game-changing design tool for us at HubSpot.
