Welcome to the third episode of UXPin Talks:
Bree Walter is a Senior UX Designer at H&R Block, where she leads the teams that design the applications used by tax professionals in the 10,000+ H&R Block offices worldwide. Before H&R Block, Bree worked in the Healthcare IT design space and outside of her 9-5, Bree is passionate about the UX Community; she was the board member for the UXPA KC chapter last year, she spoke at the UXPA International conference this year, and she regularly speaks about UX to clubs and classes at her alma mater. Additionally, she provides volunteer UX services for a variety of causes she supports, such as the America Cancer Society and Code for America. Bree was also featured as the May “Designer of the Month” on the UXPin blog.
Jason Lopez is a User Experience (UX) Designer working at H&R Block, where he contributes to the research, strategy, and design on the tax prep applications used in H&R Block offices worldwide. Over the past 10 years, he has worked for healthcare and retail spaces as a lead facilitator in client experiences. Often, he helps a local non-profit, Code for America chapter, to provide volunteered UX services to a variety of industries.
